If you're coming from the A64 (main road between Leeds and Scarborough) come off at the A169 signposted to Pickering (and also to Malton and Eden Camp). Take a left immediately as though you're going to visit Eden Camp. Continue past the museum, on this country lane for about two miles until you take a left signposted to Great Habton. From here you are 0.9miles from the bottom of our drive (stone track!). Our stone track has a clear house name at the bottom and just after a tumble-down bungalow on the right (not ours!) 

 

If you're coming from the direction of Hovingham/Helmsley/Thirsk – get to the village of Amotherby and turn down into the main village. Exit the village (past the Queen's Head) and continue on this A road. Shortly after going over a stone humpback bridge you will see the turning on your left towards Great Habton, take this. Once in Great Habton, turn right opposite the Grapes Inn and then left at the church. Continue on this country lane (Ryton Rigg Road) for about 2 miles. A small dip in the road, and you will find our stone track on the left. 

 

Sat nav will bring you to Ryton Rigg Road – the last part of the above directions will take you the rest of the way. Our house is the first house you get to, up the track and on the left, and The Granary is the second house on the left. Parking for two cars is right outside the house.
